Click on the type of program or workshop below to learn more. Most of the programs currently hosted by BBEP are held during the summer months when most educators have the time to attend. Pre-service and in-service teachers are invited and encouraged to apply to any of the programs. The summer programs are supplemented by special workshops and events held throughout the year. BBEP also participates in local, state, regional and national events, conferences, and exhibits.
Applicants must be US citizens or legal US residents.

These workshops bring teachers together every summer to learn about recent research in biology and to promote interactions between teachers and Cornell scientists.
The Teaching Fellowship is a 5 week program taking place from mid-June until mid-July. Both pre-service and in-service STEM teachers are invited to apply.
The Research Internship is an individual, flexible-length summer program held at several different partner sites.
